The United States leads in all diseases - especially breast cancer, which is the most common cancer among women. In spite of these painful statistics we don't have to be the person who is diagnosed with cancer in our lifetime. We can be the person who disarms and prevents cancer. Prevention starts with knowing your enemy.
If you have a history of breast cancer in your family you don’t have to be the woman who sits idly and passively as though you are defenseless against it. You can educate yourself and put a strategy of prevention to educate you, your family and others. We do not have to be defenseless against breast cancer.
October is hailed as the scary month. Chilling movies are aired at the theaters, frightening masks and creepy costumes are just around the corner as Halloween approaches. But there is another scary thing that is lurking. October is breast cancer awareness month. Now that’s scary! Yet still, there is something even scarier than breast cancer.
